PsychologyGoals of the psychological therapy Serious and persistent health problems often have impacts on all aspects of life and may lead to partly irreversible handicaps. Therefore, profound reorientations may be sometimes necessary. It can happen that the concerned persons and their family are pushed to the limits of their resilience. We are endeavouring to facilitate the coping with the new situation by our psychological assistance, so that the patient regains zest of life and self-confidence during the rehabilitation. Together with the patient we develop strategies for both acute and sustained psychological relief and stabilization. Through a solution oriented psycho-therapeutic approach, based on resources, it is possible to create space for individual coping processes. The major aims are the maintenance or recovery of personal autonomy, of individual freedom and of quality of life as well as to restore hope through promising outlooks. Thanks to the assistance in form of psychological accompaniment, being adapted to the personal needs and to the specific individual problems, it is possible to give relief and to avoid the aggravation or the chronification of psychological troubles.
Within the integrative psychotherapy we employ specifically the following approaches: cognitive behaviour therapy
psychotherapy by talks
holistic psychotherapy
body-oriented therapy
systemic couple and family therapy
imagination therapy
consultancy and coaching
therapy based on depth psychology

We don’t consider illness as a personal failure, but as a serious incident in life, representing a challenge for anyone concerning the coping capacity. Sometimes such an incident constitutes, however, a chance for constructive changes and decisions. The patient may already feel a certain relief once he is able to accept the irreversible and once he is able to concentrate his efforts on reversible things. We will try to sustain you, to give you serenity concerning the first and to give you the energy concerning the second as well as to help you to draw a distinction between both of them. |
