Pain therapy Pain is essential for the diagnosis of an existing disease and has therefore an important biological function.
While acute pain is confined to the period of the healing process, chronic pain persists beyond this phase, leading potentially to an extreme deterioration of the quality of life of the concerned persons. The causes may reside in the somatic, psychological or in the social field.
Our pain therapy aims at relieving or even at eliminating the pain and at preventing the chronification.
Our interdisciplinary pain treatment is composed of different therapeutic methods, which are adapted to the specific pain syndromes:
- physical and physiotherapeutic treatment
- manual therapy
- analgesic treatment
- lecture on the psychological causes of chronic pain
- psychological assistance
