Disorders of the locomotor system / Rheumatology
In the “Fachklinik St. Georg” we treat degenerative rheumatic diseases, such as arthroses, disorders of the vertebral column and of the intervertebral discs as well as neuralgia. The centrepiece of our orthopaedic rheumatologic therapy concept is the physical treatment combined with training and physiotherapy. The treatment is based on a thorough diagnosis and on the assessment of the individual physical capacity. Indications

What does “craniosacral” therapy mean?
The “craniosacral” therapy is a special field of the osteopathy, which concerns the mobility, motility (embryological independent motion), malleability (intrinsic flexibility of the bone), the skull sutures, the bony structure of the skull (cranium), and the sacrum the mobility and motility of the dural structures (spinal meninges). These have in the skull an interior sheath, which goes down like a bag to the sacrum and to the respective peripheral nerves. Given this knowledge, it can be presumed that a fall on the sacrum, even if it was a long time ago, can now trigger headaches.
An osteopathist combines:
“craniosacral” therapy (abovementioned) visceral therapy; mobility and motility (autonomous mobility of the organ system) parietal osteopathy; structured approach: mobility and motility of the other bony structures: vertebral column, joints, muscles and fascia (bag-like muscle sheaths).
